Norpac has provided annual rope-access inspection and maintenance for the mine pit slopes at Ekati since 2019. This has included the following:
- Scaling
- Rock bolts
- Weep pipes
- Rockfall slope mesh
- Geofabric and geogrid
- Slope monitoring systems
- Installation of any other slope remediation products deemed suitable to remediate future exposure
- Repair of existing slope remediation products
