Norpac was a subcontractor to IDL Projects for a slope stabilization program at the Duncan Dam. The scope of work included the following:
- Rock scaling
- 21 rock dowels
- 15.6 linear metres of rock anchors
- 47 concrete anchors
- Approximately 560 m2 of rockfall drape mesh (installed per MoTI specifications)
The site presented multiple challenges, including difficult-to-access terrain, rockfall hazards, environmental risks with the site being located adjacent to a sensitive water course, and variable ground conditions.
